Last week, our Director of Marketing and Membership, Max, decided to donate some gently used luggage to Sophie’s Change for Change, a fantastic organization supporting those in need. She packed up her car and headed to the Miromar Outlets, figuring it would be a quick drop-off. What she didn’t count on was the chaotic frenzy of last-minute Christmas shoppers flooding the parking lot. After navigating through the crowds like a game of bumper cars, she finally found the building—hands full of luggage, of course, like she was trying to open her own suitcase store. As she struggled through the door, a kind woman looked at her sympathetically. It was at this point that Max noticed the sign which stated that cash donations are also welcome. She couldn’t help but laugh and think, "Well, next time I’ll just donate online… or hire a U-Haul.” Sometimes doing a good deed requires more than just a kind heart; it requires a solid back and a good GPS!
